Stub class?

Don't know why it's still listed as such. This is a good, solid article.Armandtanzarian (talk) 19:55, 8 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ιάσπερος

I googled Ιάσπερος and zero (0) hits came up. This means the name needs citations. Please provide them or stop adding the name to the list. Thanks. Dr.K. (talk) 21:41, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And I just searched for it in Musaios TLG, JSTOR, Project Muse, Oxford Reference, Liddel Scott and four different greek dictionaries to no avail. If there is a reference do cite it. At any rate, even if such a bogus name has been used it can hardly be considered a representative example in this list--Giorgos Tzimas (talk) 11:46, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh and btw,
Jasper is actually Persian... The source of the name is apocryphal and is not attested in the Old or the New Testament--Giorgos Tzimas (talk) 18:50, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply

Pedaeus & Crino

These two names seem to be very rare. Πηδαῖος (

Disambiguation warning?

I am removing the "this page links to lots of disambiguation pages" warning from the top of the page. This page should qualify as a list of names (in my opinion; please leave a comment if you disagree) under

WP:INTDABLINK, so the links to disambiguation pages are appropriate and should not be changed to refer to specific individuals. In accordance with the policy on that page, I am also changing these links to refer to the "name (Disambiguation)" versions of these pages, so they no longer register on disambiguation link warning radar. 170.140.237.96 (talk) 17:59, 30 June 2011 (UTC)[reply

References to use

I don't have time right now to use these references, but I thought I'd mention them here in case someone else wants to use them:
