I am not aware of any evidence that Cabestany died in 1212; Dictionnaire des lettres françaises: Le Moyen ge, Hasenor et Zink (éd), Fayard, Paris, 1992, p. 258-259 suggests that he outlived Raimon, who Cardénas suggests probably died in 1218.
