Was the Agamemnon a unique ship?

It is debateable whether the Agamemnon was a unique ship. She is sometimes described as being part of the James Watt class. In terms of her wooden hull, she was. However her boilers were aft of her main mast, whereas in the James Watt class the boilers were forward of the mainmast. This was a significant difference in the distribution of weight, and caused the Agamemnon to steer badly except when she was carrying a lot of stores forward.--Toddy1 (talk) 04:43, 12 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
