Technically correct, but somewhat misleading, as the predecessor seat of Oswestry was briefly held by the Liberals between the 1904 Oswestry by-election and 1906. Of course, the "Liberal Democrats" did not exist then, and the constituency boundaries have been changed several times, most recently in 1997. Ghmyrtle (talk) 22:54, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
