Good explanation

Insufficient Sources for AMD's involvement.

I recently went through the sources to see in what way AMD was involved with HBM, but there really isn't any mention of such. I will mark it as needing a citation until one is made. Furthermore, is the youtube video really an acceptable source?Sagacity159 (talk) 18:15, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Product firsts

(@ Ysangkok) There have been a few edits recently adding the first AMD or Nvidia HBM1 or HBM2 products, and I am glad to see the article is active and editors contributing. However, while not explicitly discussed here, it seemed from previous edits consensus was to list the first product released, by any manufacturer. Otherwise this ends up being a collection of trivia (the first Intel HBM product, the first XXX manufacturer's HBM product, etc). However, the first HBM1/2 products may be note-worthy within the manufacturer/product articles.

Does anyone else have any thoughts? I'd like to attempt to discuss this and find consensus before reverting other's edits. Dbsseven (talk) 19:44, 2 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

There are not many HBM supporting products which have their own articles on Wikipedia yet. I don't think this article is bloated yet. I get the gist of your comment, but it is premature. This article has few edits per day, on average. --Ysangkok (talk) 11:39, 4 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Your statement about HBM supporting products not having articles is incorrect. All of the products noted already have articles, all of which explicitly highlight their use of HBM. (See the
