According to indian census 2011 in Uttar dinajpur district hindus are 49.1% and muslims are 49.9%.So hindus are no longer majority in Uttar dinajpur district So I am requesting wikipedia to edit the writting that say hindus are majority in all districts except murshidabad and maldah.

I have restored the lead to the last revision before the vandalism/OR by IP. The sentences like "West Bengal was created on the basis of religion Hinduism to ensure a Safe Homeland for Bengali Hindus of Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent during partition of India in 1947 by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee." are not only unsourced/OR but

Hi, There are users which are changing the real sourced edit of this page. I suggest you page protect this page so no more removing edits with reliable sources I am talking particurarly about number of bengali hindus which 53% with real calculations if it is 1.5 crore which is aproximately 15 million then i suggest that those edits are wrong. It would be wonderful if you block or report this anonymous users who come randomly and edit with no real data.
