this post is pure bullshit, most of the words are never spoken or heard of, some bored guy looking to have his work on wikipedia has gone ahed and written this article. Whether or not this gets deleted is not my concern, but just pointing out that this is utter garbage. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.18.59.84 (talk) 20:40, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I guess one person's hate or love doesn't determine whether an article should live or die on Wikipedia. If you want to pursue your personal prejudices, please go and start your own wiki! I think the article has appropriate references and we should remove the tag that it has unverified claims. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 171.64.66.15 (talk) 15:39, 30 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
GOD I hate hinglish, it is filth
^ absolutely right ! This article does not deserve to live.

since the communication in Roman Hinglish has a lot of possibilites for discerning ex. kanad. It is a name of a village near Ujjain . It may be understood as Kaanad ie. related to or originating from kannad . similarly there is a village kannod specifically kannau-d. which seems like kannad language related. there could be two meanings to badar. its not something worst . its a name or means clouds in vernaculars of U. P.

^ haha, wtf? Tuncrypt (talk) 20:16, 7 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

URDU and English

Isn't Hinglish really Urdu and English. It is just a name that really doesn't incorparte Hindi. Besides, Urdlish, or urnglish, doesn't sound so good. I think it should be mentioned that more urdu speaking, than Hindi, speak Hinglish. Obaidz96 (talk) 05:49, 30 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Examples

Are there any notable examples of Hinglish? Has there been any professional studies done by linguists we could cite? How does Hinglish differ from other kinds of code-switching? 惑乱 Wakuran (talk) 18:07, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
