Sources modified on Holland House, Cardiff

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just attempted to maintain the sources on Holland House, Cardiff. I managed to add archive links to 1 source, out of the total 1 I modified, whiling tagging 0 as dead.

Please take a moment to review my changes to verify that the change is accurate and correct. If it isn't, please modify it accordingly and if necessary tag that source with {{cbignore}} to keep Cyberbot from modifying it any further. Alternatively, you can also add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page's sources altogether. Let other users know that you have reviewed my edit by leaving a comment on this post.

Below, I have included a list of modifications I've made:

History

I think it was built in the 1960s and was financed by Julian Hodge. So for I can't find a source. Verbcatcher (talk) 06:53, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Built in 1968 by (for) Julian Hodge. I have found a source and added it. Verbcatcher (talk) 17:08, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

On the site of the first secondary school?

I think this claim is dubious:

  • Holland House stands on the site which used to belong to the first secondary school in Cardiff. [1]

Presumably this is referring to

Cardiff Higher Grade School, which was built near here in 1885. Firstly, it is probable that there was a secondary school in Cardiff before this. Also, the 1901 six-inch OS map shows a school that is entirely to the south of this building, between Howard Gardens and Fitzalan Place where the Cardiff School of Art & Design is now. Our claim is sourced to a personal web site, and I will remove the claim. Verbcatcher (talk) 18:03, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply

Interesting to see the map. Yeah, it's a bit of a tenuous fact anyway and not explained sufficiently in the website source. It's conceivable the school was the first higher grade school in Cardiff, but that fact is better placed on the Howardian High School page. Sionk (talk) 18:33, 5 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
