This article is written in Hong Kong English, which has its own spelling conventions (colour, realise, travelled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Just because people who live in Hong Kong are ignorant of the fact that the official current title of the sevens tournament is Cathay Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens, doesn't mean that it is not so. Many people in the home unions are unaware that the official title of the Six Nations Championship is the RBS 6 Nations, however, their ignorance on this point does nothing to change the fact that it is so. Also, if we look at the Credit Suisse webpage, we will find that they are indeed co-title sponsors of the Hong Kong Sevens. That means that officially their name appears in the name of the tournament. --Bob 23:29, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You obviously work for one of these companies. Sponsors come and go. The title Hong Kong sevens doesn't. If we had to reference every sporting even with it's sponsor we'd be here forever. It's the HK sevens. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Willis999 (talk • contribs)

I added a section entitled, a developing ground for young players, I hope this is okay. I also referenced the History of Hong Kong Sevens website, where a similar paragraph appears.
