Mist

The falls continually produces a large omg hiiii i can now see how easy it is to fix/change wikipedia!!!! continue on now about the falls "mist" production. amount of cash, which renders viewing them difficult. I think I can infer from context of the passage that cash should be mist. It's just a bizzare statement otherwise. --RLent 15:52, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think we have to call that a Freudian slip. 81.158.231.242 (talk) 14:27, 14 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Expansion

This article needs expansion about the Horseshoe Falls, particularly about encyclopedic facts such as water flow (L) per second over the falls, attempts to "ride a barrel" through the falls over the last century(ies), with some attempts ending in death, and others being near-miss successes. I might try to do some myself when I have time, but I'll have to read through one of my old encyclopedic sets, perhaps Britannica or Oxford, and organize the information aesthetically and wiki-ally pleasing. Though if anyone else has the time, that'd probably be better.-TAz69x (talk) 19:54, 12 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Lake Erie into Lake Ontario?

So, Lake Erie water is "falling" into Lake Ontario water at these falls? FitzColinGerald (talk) 19:58, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Water moves from Lake Erie into Lake Ontario by way of the Niagara River (and the Welland Canal). The Falls are at a point along the river. PKT(alk) 16:35, 19 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Boundary Controversies?

This section has some great historical information, but it's written in a confusing way and the "controversy" isn't supported by the sources. I'd like to rename it "International Border" and rewrite it to clearly state the location of the border, along with the history of modifications that changed the location of the falls relative to the border. It might be appropriate to include a single sentence explaining how the modifications have caused some confusion about where the border is located. Before I make these changes, is there a genuine controversy or border dispute that should be mentioned in the article? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dlthewave (talkcontribs) 03:27, 10 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
