Infection

I read he had an infection and was paralysed in his legs. I would like to know what sort of infection this was. Thx. Simplicius (talk) 12:25, 11 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[dubious ] There are several photographs of Horst walking upright, an not in a wheelchair after the claimed incapacitating RPG injuries of 1967. I also read that "..he became ill in Hanoi on May 4, 2005. He was hospitalized first in Bangkok and then in Germany, where doctors traced his permanent paralysis from the waist down to a spinal hemorrhage caused by blood-thinning heart medication." http://www.ap.org/Content/AP-In-The-News/2012/Horst-Faas-AP-combat-photographer-dies-at-79
