Do you not think that it's a matter of opinion? I wouldn't call Howard Devoto Rock and Roll. Brakn (talk) 21:42, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Page is of interest to "LGBT studies"...

...but not a word of it in the article?

Hmph...sensible enough. Devoto has never publicly "come out," and likely never will; he's intrinsically averse to allegiance with any sort of faction or community. As an example, there's his dismissal--in 1978--of punk as formulaic and ritualised.

However it's difficult to imagine the author of "My Tulpa" not being gay or bisexual. His songwriting typically expresses similar attitudes, albeit not as explicitly.drone5 (talk) 21:42, 3 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This paragraph makes no sense

A collaboration on three songs with Bernard Szajner on the Brute Reason LP was released on Island Records in 1983. This was followed by a rendering of Big Star's "Holocaust" for the loose collective This Mortal Coil. The album It'll End in Tears contained contributions from many of the 4AD label's best artists, Devoto's presence being somewhat atypical.

Retired
