Is the ogg file at the bottom of the page there? (Will check at my own computer, but I did check the description page and found no file, which is understandable for copyright reasons; if you can't get permission from the composer or his agents, and the performers, or else don't need it, and place an appropriate tag exactly as with images, the file's likely to be removed, I think...) "Serious American music" is not an accurate description or musical term to describe Hanson's support of American classical music.

I have created a disambiguation page for [[A_Sea_Symphony_(Disambiguation)|A Sea Symphony]]. Ideally, that page should bring the general title A Sea Symphony that is now given to Vaughan Williams' first symphony. However, until an article dedicated to Hanson's 7th is written, people seem against this move. Would somebody write something about H.H. 7th?

An editor has written in the article that Howard Hanson did not study under Respighi - which contradicts the New Grove article which normally would be treated as a reputable source. I'm not sure how information allegedly taken from an unpublished autobiography and which may well be true should be treated here. If I find a more definite *published* source which confirms either way, I will incorporate this in the article with relevant citation - but hope maybe another editor might do the same. It seems there is an unpublished autobiography, in the care of John C Brzustowicz (see here and here). Still, I'm wary of treating this - unseen and unpublished - as authoritative when there's this from Howard Hanson in Theory and Practice by Allen Laurence Cohen, which suggests a direct claim by Hanson about his studies with Respighi. Hello fellow Wikipedians - Based upon the published source Howard Hanson in Theory and Practic cited above I have included text in the article indicating that Howard Hanson sought advice from Respighi and was influenced by his work while in Rome (even though he may not have pursued formal studies with him). An anon editor is messing up the formatting of this page, replacing bold and italicized text with plain quote marks. I've tried reaching out to the editor and have not gotten any response.
