...and with the Philharmonia Orchestra he recorded Vivaldi's "Four Seasons" with Stokowski and Vaughan Williams' "Lark Ascending" with Sir Adrian Boult, the latter being his legacy to the world of classical music.

What does the highlighted phrase mean? Does it refer only to "The Lark Ascending", and if so, why are not his other recordings and performances also part of his "legacy"? -- JackofOz (talk) 10:13, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have heard that his recording of The Lark Ascending is considered to be definitive. Could do with a citation, though.--

Even with a citation, it would be a POV statement. I know he's famous for the Lark Ascending, but he did far more than that. I'm removing it. -- JackofOz (talk) 06:13, 20 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
