I could if I would, but I'm hesitant to for two reasons. First, because of standard rules for non-retired hurricane articles (Amelia also has a yearly identifier. This article needs a preparations section. I would imagine watches or warnings were issued with Cora as it approached the Lesser Antilles. Thegreatdr (talk) 16:12, 6 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'd imagine the same thing, but there's a problem: There are no sources saying whether such warnings or watches were issued. I've no doubt they were issued (Grenada was directly hit, so the possibility that no warnings or watches for it alone are close to being non-existant), but from what I've seen, no documents mention warnings. Not in the storm wallet, not in the seasonal reports, not in the news articles, nothing. This isn't an unusual problem, as many other storm articles are plagued by a lack of watches and warning sections. Will it cost this article the GAN? Not 100% true. When I was looking, there was an article in the hurricane archives I couldn't access due to being "premium content" (an article from "The Capital" out of Annapolis). To date, it's the only source I have not tapped. While I don't think it'd affect the article too much (many other articles I wrote with their help also had premium content which I didn't use, and a couple became GAs), I do think it has some more information. Thanks in no small part to another GAN going on (The Hardy Boys), I found the talk page had a Google News source on it, and thanks to that, I found for free the last article off of the Hurricane Archives and added it with a notice off of People. I now strongly believe the article is about as full as it can get. I may be wrong, but I doubt there's more info. Hurricane Angel Saki (talk) 04:20, 10 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
