Lots of overlap with Whitecapping. The two article should either be combined, or the lede paragraph of this Indiana article should be rewritten to summarize the Indiana White Caps instead of whitecapping as a movement (scope of the other article).  czar 02:18, 28 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am moving the following here:

• according to a report by Attorney General Louis T. Michener. Blacks and others they disliked were forced out; victims both male and female were severely whipped.(Appleton's Annual Cyclopedia: 1888 (1889), p 441.) - this book does not have a page 441, and I could not find the informaton elsewhere. This information is already within the article though established by other sources, so no loss of information by removing it.

• They often claimed the victims were either criminals or suspected criminals, but often the victims were simply people of whom the whitecappers disapproved.("The Bingham Stories". www.bjhughes.org.) - True, but this is not a reliable source. This same information is already discussed in detail in the article, so again, no context or information lost by its removal.
