Number of Casualties

the number of casualties given in the box is high and exaggerated, 5000-6000 Algerian killed would be a resounding victory, which the battle was not and it was a Spanish defeat, plus, ibn Ruqaya al Tlemceni, an eyewitness and a contemporary source at that time, record that 300 Algerians were killed in his book Al zahra nai'ra (الزهرة النائرة), would be more accurate.[https://ia803106.us.archive.org/30/items/zahranaira/zahra%20naira.pdf] page 153 عبدالرحمن4132 (talk) 11:33, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@عبدالرحمن4132: there is a non-communicative IP that has been changing the numbers, drive-by tagging various related articles and edit warring (for which they were blocked last week). Unless the situation changes (they start explaining their edits or engaging in a discussion), their edits will be reverted on sight. M.Bitton (talk) 16:29, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
another thing is that the IP lists those citations as unreliable without giving a proper explanation as why they're wrong. the IP would also post uncited number in Algiers expedition (1541) that would be taken from Spanish Wikipedia which also has no citation, unless the IP provides a reason. عبدالرحمن4132 (talk) 16:47, 5 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
