Prince of Wales

Should there be a mention of the Investiture of the Prince of Wales, probably the biggest investiture ceremony in the UK for some time. --jmb 17:24, 11 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Other meaning?

The article describes investiture with respect to a particular office or function. However, then it mentions New Year Honours and Queen's Birthday Honours in the UK: this seems a different usage (if it is even correct) because there is no office associated with it. 108.234.224.230 (talk) 00:59, 30 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Dat lede...

...Was perhaps the most discordant amalgam of random text I have ever read.

I'm not exactly sure where to begin with it, frankly--as I have no prior experience with the topic of investiture, its etymology, or anything else pertaining to it--but it could do with some considerable improvements. If you inform me as to the nature of this practice, I might be able to enact such a thing. Ghost Lourde (talk) 19:57, 3 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
