Alphabetical Bibliography?

Is there any particular reason for having the bibliography in alphabetical order? Most bibliographies are chronological, which makes far more sense. I propose that this bibliography should be chronologically ordered as well. Sovex 16:39, 8 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fan page, not an encyclopedia article

Way, way too much detail, and the bold faced accolades are unnecessary. i removed a section pulled from fantastic fiction, as totally not appropriate here. first, its their pure research as a nonscholarly, non reliable source. second, no other author has such a broad list of fellow writers. its bordering on the trivial. most authors who read their fellow authors would say they are some sort of influence if pressed, but no one ever claims hundreds of direct influences, or that they influenced hundreds of others directly.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 03:49, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

'Education,' etc.

Ketchum was born in Livingston as the only child to German immigrant stock parents....

Livingston, where? There are several towns called Livingston in the U.S. Why is this statement in a section labeled "Education," and what's the purpose of the word "stock" – ??
Entire article is written in an amateurish promotional style, and contains such errors as using present-tense "credits" for a person who is deceased, as follows: "credits his childhood love of Elvis Presley, dinosaurs, and horror" (horror what?) "for getting him through his formative years" (huh?). — Sca (talk) 14:52, 25 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Novels

Why are the novels listed publisher first??? That is not Wikipedia style.

It's the novels he's known for. Their title and dates of first publication are primary and what should be listed. 2600:8800:786:A300:C23F:D5FF:FEC4:D51D (talk) 15:00, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
