On Preston Lacy's αficial Myspace (Link found on jackassworld.com)He wrote down that he is one of the writers for the jackass franchise, and he goes on to state, Jackass the show, The Movie, Number Two, Jackass 2.5, and Jackass 3. My comments about Peter the Great of Russia predating Jackass in their antics is not vandalism, it is historical fact. It is relevant here, because it is generally assumed that the members of Jackass are corrupting society, while Peter the Great did similar stunts and is responsible for the Westernisation of Russia. It would make this article far more interesting and informative if there was a list of all known (moderate to serious) injuries involving various participants of Jackass. Too long. I like the idea, but it should be on a page/article by itself. I think every stunt they did resulted an injury... which was kinda the point of Jackass ;-) A few notable examples in a short section here might be good. Like Johnny Knoxville and his special relationship with the bull. He's always up in a bull in every movie and several episodes. I recently saw the jackass volumes 1-3 dvds, and was rather disappointed to find out that several bits which i had heard about were absent from the dvds ("abduction" & "night monkey 2" for example). So i came to this article to see if there was some explanation or reason, and possibly a list of skits or scenes not available on dvd, only to find that not only is there pretty much no mention of the dvds, but there isn't even an episode list for jackass, which wouldn't bother me, but wikipedia has articles that are lists of episodes for lots of shows, so i think that they should probably have a "List of Episodes of Jackass" article aswell as an addition to the Main Jackass article concerning the dvds and their differences from the broadcast episodes of jackass.69.213.152.159 04:09, 11 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is now a list of episodes in a separate article HERE, each listing every stunt, and the DVDs (the original 3 plus the bonus disc, and also the "lost tapes" dvd) also listing every stunt, for comparison of differences. Abduction and Night Monkey 2 have been added to the list under the Bonus Disc, but the listing is incomplete. Brandon is credited as main cast in every episode. Just not in the movies. The show has 10 main cast members, the movie has nine. So he should be under the main cast list, not the additional cast list. Tylerco113x 03:04, 29 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Could you add the part in the controversies section about, in one episode, where two of the Jackass crew interact with the strangers’ small boy, where they force him to smoke and teach him how to be edgy, such as cussing? The reason I asked is b because that is the most infamous moment I ever watched, that made me cringed in fury. Those two idiots should not done that to that little kid, it’s definitely illegal! I reverted your deletion of the entire paragraph, because the film's inclusion in this article was valid, just in the wrong section. There is a section for "Related Films" that don't have the Jackass branding. I've moved it there. 97.32.0.176 (talk) 03:06, 15 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I note the 'See Also' section has been renamed 'Influences', and some text added back in.

I note also that _no references have been added_.

The removed material was removed in good faith as a 'See Also' list, per the Wikipedia Manual of Style, is simply that. A list. And I did that as the simplest way to make the material meet the bar for being included in the article, as there is a lower bar for 'See Also' than there would be for 'Influences'.

I have, therefore, re-added the unreferenced tag to the 'Influences' section. And I would suggest that references should be added in short order where found, especially given that the 'See Also' section lacked references for a number of years prior.

I am also side-eyeing the fact that by simply renaming the 'See Also' section as 'Influences' means that a number of shows or groups are listed whose founding actually pre-dates Jackass. Which is clearly misleading.
