I thought I'd mention that there seems to be a shift in the focus of the article in the middle where it seems to ramble off into a description of what the various units he commanded achieved rather than what Hill did. --217.206.99.134 (talk) 16:08, 14 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, that's because I have no idea what Hill did, to put it bluntly! He didn't leave a memoir or autobiography, so I'm bound by what the secondary sources give me, and that often isn't much; for the Ardennes period, for example, I know nothing, and the same for much of Normandy. If it wasn't for Major General Thompson's rather 'chatty' and informal history, I doubt there'd be much personal detail at all. So, I apologize if it seems to ramble on, but I did my best. I can't see any mention anywhere online about Brigadier Hill being awarded the 125th Anniversary of the Confederation of Canada Medal, but it can be seen on his medal rack pictured here:
