In the photo showing the surrender, it is J N Chaudhuri who is at right and Syed Ahmed El Edroos standing at the left. This is evident from the other pictures in the article and the dress that J N Chaudhury was wearing. After going through some other photos of Hyderabad State Liberation, or Operation Polo, it is evident that the caption in the said photo in the present article is correct. However, in the Telugu version of the Wikipedia articles on the same subjects or topics, there is an inversion of "right" and "left" leading to some confusion. --107.217.164.208 (talk) 21:16, 27 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
