Alan Reed was the original voice of Fred Flintstone. Now Jeff Bergman sometimes does the voice. Reed's real name was Bergman. Is Jeff Bergman his son? - Richard Cavell (talk) 04:36, 27 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I already explained the occupations section to you three times about it Dmp12, but you still refuse to listen (no offense). Like I said before respectful, It doesn't need to have the "< br >" in his occupation section, "commas" already takes care of it, it shouldn't be like this "Voice actor< br >Comedian< br >Impressionist" It should be more like this "Voice actor, comedian, impressionist". Because having the "< br >" is inappropriate and it violates the MOS. 174.192.16.78 (talk) 03:59, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Another Block request

I have to request again. Expired. Permanent this time would be great.

A dramatic difference favoring Welker. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:EA00:107:2C01:E9F7:57E:4524:3680 (talk) 05:22, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Behind the Voice Actors and Lockerdome both cite that Jeff Bergman was the voice actor for Barney later on. -- Dane talk 08:15, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The "Behind the Voice Actors" is citing him for a single episode of "Seth MacFarlane's Cavalcade of Cartoon Comedy". As I said before, if we were to go off of single episodes, then Macfarlane is known for Kermit the Frog and Lion-O, which most would agree makes no sense.

As for the Lockerdome, they are copying most of what is on this page, and I also see nothing about Barney on there. Bergman has only voiced Barney for two short skits. One for a single episode of Family Guy, and the other for a minute and a half short described above. That is not a notable role. The "Behind the Voice Actors" description for him on "Cartoon Network" is incorrect. Frank Welker played Barney for Cartoon Network until 2006. Behind the Voice Actors even lists Welker as providing the role of Barney for Cartoon Network. Thus, it's not reliable source for either, and really for any actor. You have to find a source or them being credited or stating that they provided a role. Welker is credited until 2006, whereas Bergman is not credited until MacFarlane, and two credits is not notable.

Huckleberry Hound was played by him for a single commercial, and Droopy was for a single film. Neither of those are notable either. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2607:EA00:107:2C01:E9F7:57E:4524:3680 (talk) 08:44, 10 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Reason why he wasn't voicing Looney Tunes frequently from Tiny Toons to Looney Tunes Show

I have a source from Joe Alaskey's autobiography, that says how Jeff Bergman was originally fired from voicing the characters during the early 90's as he promoted himself as the 'new Mel Blanc', which is why there was such a huge span of time in between his first roles as Bugs and his current one. Are you sure this cannot be on the article?

Intro Page

When an actor has an intro page, the roles that they are well known for are listed. For Bergman, that would be the modern day voices of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Fred Flintstone, and George Jetson, as he has regularly provided the voices. The others listed-Yogi Bear, Huckleberry Hound, Droopy, and Barney Rubble-have only been played by him for a few episodes or commercials of the characters, or a single film. That is not a notable role. Those characters can go down in the filmographies or later in the biographies with proper citations-Behind the Voice Actors is not one of them, as they get their information from wikipedia-but not up here.
