Income and financial gain

In Brittain, the television industry is at a much smaller scale than American television: less shows; less episodes per show; less seasons, AKA series, per show. Does a British actor like Jeffrey Holland make a comfortable living as an actor? Or do these BBC comedy actors usually have another regular occupation to pay the bills? Maybe with regard to this, there is published information that can be added to this wikipedia article. As an American, certainly Im famliar with film actors like Michael Caine, for example. But with regard to television, seems to me the one British television actor that has had long and lucrative employment as an actor is Ian McShane. But the ones like Jeffrey Holland, Paul Shane: while perhaps well known: I dont know if its been a main source of income for them. MS, Dania Fl 206.192.35.125 (talk) 19:59, 23 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
