AVG

He actually had a .324 season in 1978, I know all of his stats from all of his years except for 1979, but I know for a fact, that he had a .324 Avg in 1979, being his best season.

  • Your comment makes no sense. The article already states that he had a .324 average in 1978, so I am unsure what your point is. Indrian (talk) 17:55, 8 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Tongue swallowing incident

Jesus Alou accidently swallowed his tongue in a fairly well known incident, and would have died if not for the intervention of the trainer. See, for example http://www.astrosdaily.com/history/1969/timeline.html. Psalm 119:105 (talk) 08:07, 5 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Outfield

"Five days later, for the first time, the three played in the outfield for the Giants at the same time.[1]"

Except it was 41 days earlier...

"http://fenwaypark100.org/2013/01/28/he-aint-heavy-hes-my-brother-the-hollies/" This is the source of the misinformation...

Apprently, they took the field at least three times that season, First on August 1st, for a preseason, and then on Game 6 and game7 ...

I am looking for the source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.200.41.67 (talk) 09:09, 21 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
