Does anyone know exactly "how much" he is of either French, Italian, or Portuguese? I haven't seen any reliable source that described it exactly. I think whoever put that in here was assuming. Thanks.

How do you know he is 50% Italian? The only place you can find that is trivia sites, who copied us, because we used to say that he was 50% Italian. But I've never seen anything good. This is one of the only first-hand (i.e. something that he was involved in personally) sources that mention his heritage[1] - and they don't get into specifics. Hunky Male Celebs is a mirror of Wikipedia (a lot of sites copy our text). As you can see, it's a direct copy-and-paste from this version of the article[2], which we had in January. Mad Jack O'Lantern 05:29, 20 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well when I look at him he kind of lookes like he's smooth mixture of french, Portuguese, Italian, Aro-Carribean, Afro-Brazillian

Well lol unfortunately your opinion of what he looks like doesn't determine who he is. Mr. or miss DNA eyes.lol

Well fuck you, and I'm not DNA eyes!!!!!!!!!!!

In any case, inclusion in the Fooian-Americans categories, especially for people not from Foo, requires some evidence that it is part of the person's self-identity. I'm removing all of them and they should not be put in unless some such connection is made and referenced. Gene Nygaard (talk) 15:16, 23 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I thought he was Hispanic actually. I am surprised to learn he is just another white boy.--24.177.0.156 (talk) 18:20, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fansite

Am I the only one that thinks fansites submitted by Wikipedia members are not SPAM? Especially in this case, my site has been open for over a year, and it is the only website that is dediated to and acclaimed by Jesse Metcalfe himself. And there's the simple fact that every other celebrity has their fansites listed on their pages, why is it so necessary to cut mine out? Especially when the person who keeps deleting it knows that it was added by a memeber and that it's not SPAM. You can check out the fansite here: JesseMetcalfe.net as well as other actor pages such as Paul Walker and Ryan Reynolds and tell me how exactly listing my site is SPAM but listing on every other actor's page is not.

oh and i looked at the

WP:EL says, "including a link to one major fansite is appropriate, marking the link as such." so what's the problem? --EXXC3L 22:05, 15 July 2006 (UTC)[reply

father

I know Jesse's father and his name is Jeff not Scott.

Ha,
WP:CITE cite a source and prove this is so. Iolakana|T 16:07, 29 July 2006 (UTC)[reply

Domangsmom 23:49, 1 May 2007 (UTC) I grew up with Jesse and am 100% sure that his step-father's name is Scott. If his Birth Certificate was found in California it should list the parents name and it will show his father's name and you will see it is not Scott.[reply]

Image

An anon removed this image from the article without much explanation. Maybe someone should find out if there are any problems w/ it (well, it may be unsourced or may lack a proper fair use rationale (?), i really dunno, the image guidelines aren't clear enuf for me). --Adolar von Csobánka (Talk) 18:28, 30 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, yeah man, I removed it sorry, man it was making me itchy!

Altercation

Per TMZ.com, Jesse was involved in an altercation with a rapper named Mams. He took a right hook to the face and went down pretty hard. I added this general information under Early LIfe (which I changed to Personal Life)TomUsedToBeRob (talk) 20:53, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Career

"Also in a video, Jesse Metcalfe is one punch KO'd by a white rapper. After being knocked out Jesse gets up and repeatedly says "What the F@#$" three times. The video can be seen at the YNC.com."

Is this relevant to the article? It's not referenced and doesn't even say what the video is. Beantrees (talk) 13:39, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Random information

I removed the following line from the article:

Also in a video, Jesse Metcalfe is one punch KO'd by a white rapper. After being knocked out Jesse gets up and repeatedly says "What the F@#$" three times. The video can be seen at the YNC.com.

It seems highly suspect, and when I googled it, found that it was word for word the same as the information on another website. Now, I don't know which site ripped which, but I suggest keeping this information out until it can be substantiated. It might be true, but it looks a bit odd. Someone is welcome to put it back in if it can be sourced. Sky83 (talk) 16:59, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I am stunned to find out he is 36 years old. He was playing a teenager on Desperate Housewives! He actually is only four years younger than supposed cougar Eva Longoria's character. Isn't anyone in Hollyweird young anymore? --24.177.0.156 (talk) 18:27, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
