– Two footballers with the same name. The Scottish one also became a professional golfer. RedPatch (talk) 12:18, 19 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support per nom. Whilst year of birth is standard disambiguatior, partly because nationality can be ambiguous, I think in this particular case it is the best way. The Scottish player never played in England and vice versa. Then redirect the vacated 'Jimmy Lawson' and 'Jimmy Lawson (footballer)' pages to the James Lawson dab page. • Support per nomination and per GiantSnowman. Jimmy Lawson (footballer) is incomplete disambiguation and use of nationalities does indeed feel more intuitive in this instance. —Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 01:53, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support 2nd it makes no sense to have the base name as a footballer and the other qualified with "footballer" but the English one may be primary with 92 views compared with 21[[1]] for the Scottish one. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:14, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
