I doubt that the Joe Plummer who wrote Tragedy and Hope 101 is the same Joe Plummer who drummed for Modest Mouse. If you look at the author Joe Plummer in this video, he looks very different from the drummer Joe Plummer in this image. (Funnily enough though, the author Joe Plummer is also a drummer.)
