- Oppose The current title is the correct version of his name in the Latin alphabet and I think transliteration should only be required where names originate in a language using a different alphabet. Number 57 11:19, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose. I checked LCFC, and they spell his name with the correct letters: [1][2][3]. Retain per ]

- Oppose per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Capital letters#Diacritics. GiantSnowman 11:44, 25 May 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Agree with the others above based on Wiki conventions to keep title as Icelandic name; however perhaps it would be useful to add the English translation in-text in the opening sentence? Not sure about the rules/past convention regarding this. For example, "Joey Guðjónsson (transliterated as Joey Gudjonsson; 25 May 1980) is an Icelandic former professional footballer who is the current manager of ÍA. " Is that something that could work and be helpful? This is how it is done on talk) 18:18, 28 May 2020 (UTC)]
