Occult side of John Carradine

He was involved with Agape Lodge of Ordo Templi Orientis. That should be mentioned. --89.57.200.153 (talk) 17:49, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Why? So far, no citation, no explanation of what that is, no explanation of why it is important enough to include in an encyclopedia, even an online one. Monkeyzpop (talk) 18:57, 10 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hurricane vs. Blood and Sand photo

I'm wondering why the switch. The Blood and Sand photo is photographically better, but it isn't nearly as instantly recognizable as Carradine, nor does it reflect the most familiar aspects of his career. I'm not changing it, but I sort of wish it hadn't been changed. The other photo really caught Carradine. Monkeyzpop (talk) 19:25, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I switched it because, as you say, I thought it was "photographically better". The Hurricane image isn't particularly clear and Carradine's face is small. I thought that the infobox picture should show his face better, as it's primarily for facial identification. Still, there's no reason why both photos can't be used, and I don't really know why I removed the other one entirely. Just an oversight.... but I've put it back into the career section. I have no problem if you wish to swap them, but my opinion is that Blood and Sand is a better facial shot, and more suitable for the infobox. Rossrs (talk) 23:43, 13 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Needs rewording

"Carradine's son, David, claimed that his father ran away when he was 14 years old."

First time I read this, it sounds as if Carradine abandoned his family, including his 14-year old son. I think it means that John left home at the age if 14. WHPratt (talk) 17:22, 30 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Movie role not mentioned in article.

[Wikipedia 1] John Carradine played the undertaker in John Wayne's last film "The Shootist".

Public domain screenshots

All screenshots in this article are labelled as Public Domain. May be, this screenshot from the film Hitler's Madman of the same period is Public Domain too? OberRanks, can you confirm (or disprove) this, pls? --Honzula (talk) 11:32, 29 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]
