The hymns below were listed for this John Fawcett. But, based upon birth and death dates of this John Fawcett there is no way he can be the one that wrote "Blest be the Tie". I suggest that that John Fawcett is this one: John_Fawcett_(theologian). For now I am removing the hymn listing from this article page and putting them on this discussion page.
