John Starks also had surgery and recovered from testicular cancer. There is no note of that in the article, but I do not know the details. Still a worthy mention if one is searching for athletes with cancer. Thanks.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.180.243.253 (talk) 21:52, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wasn't Starks the coach of the Westchester Wildfire basketball team? Benje309 03:26, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is a whole bunch of wrong information in the NBA Finals section. It was game 3 where Cassell fouled Starks on a 3pt attempt and Starks could only take 2 FTs. He did not make both FTs, he had to miss the second so the Knicks could try and get the rebound, which they did not. This did not happen in game 6. Also Riley is likely misquoted about the whole "Starks was a huge mistake in games 6 and 7". Game 7 yes, but game 6 he had a great game, there's a reason he was taking the potential series winning shot, and there isn't any shame in it being blocked by one of the greatest defensive players of all-time. —Preceding unsigned comment added by John Markisch (talkcontribs) 09:13, 15 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
