K9 vs K-9

(Created a new section since the previous one is more than a decade old.)

It seems that the spelling "K9" is preferred in common usage, while "K-9" is used very rarely. The below sources provide more solid support for K9:

I think that the article title along with all references to the name should be changed. Thoughts?

K9 (Doctor Who) → ? – Character has been featured in four television series, two of which are Doctor Who spin-offs and one of which is unrelated to Doctor Who. Due to this I think the article should be moved since the character received main billing at one point or another in all four series. TheDoctorWho (talk) 22:56, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • K-9 (TV series) doesn't appear to be entirely separate, as per that article "Baker and Tams have confirmed that this K-9 is the original K-9 Mark I, who appeared in Doctor Who". In any case, I would suggest that the character is primarily notable for appearing in the main Doctor Who series. PC78 (talk) 23:25, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply

It could go either way here because it wasn't a BBC production. So you are correct it's not entirely separate but it is enough in my opinion. As for notability I think that the other series hold some weight primarily SJA but the other two as well. TheDoctorWho (talk) 00:35, 7 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
