Can someone point out reference for thai owned... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 117.213.18.141 (talk) 01:31, 13 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I'm going to be bold and take that out of the lead paragraph. It seems to me the nationality of the majority ownership of a multinational holding company that owns Karstadt is not central to a page about KaDeWe. If it has historical significance that it is Thai-owned, then properly sourced statements about that significance can be added to the History section. Question: Add cultural reference to David Bowie song?

I've seen other article have a section of cultural references to the topic of a page.

The KaDeWe is mentioned in the David Bowie song Where Are We Now? (there is even a reference on that page to this page).

Is it worth adding a reference from this page to the song? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Potherca (talkcontribs) 19:58, 23 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Another cultural reference: there is a TV mini series named after and set in the store: KaDeWe - Our Time Is Now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.144.197.4 (talk) 22:28, 6 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hermann Tietz's date of death

The paragraph: In June 1927, ownership changed to Hermann Tietz , who was responsible for modernizing and expanding the store.

However, according to Tietz's own Wikipedia page, he died in 1907.

They contradict each other. Which one is correct?

It seems likely that it should be Oscar Tietz who should be referred to, and the date changed. But I have no further information on this. Ponsonby100 (talk) 10:12, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
