Largest coal-fired power station

This article and Eskom's website claim that the Kendal Power Station is the largest coal-fired power station in the world with installed capacity of 4116 MW. At the same time the installed capacity of the Bełchatów Power Station in Poland is 4440 MW. It needs to be verify which are the actual capacities of both plants, and which one is actually the largest one.Beagel (talk) 18:59, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

According to this page, http://www.industcards.com/top-100-pt-2.htm, Kendal has a gross capacity of 4374 MW, while Bełchatów has a gross capacity of 4340 MW. These numbers differ from the installed capacity, but, not being an expert, I don't know how to interpret the information. That page claims this as its source: http://www.udidata.com/ --  timc  talk   17:15, 17 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
