I fixed what seems to be a spelling error, and removed what seem to be nonsense characters from a quotation -- the source of the quotation was a broken link, so I removed that too. This article could use some cleanup from someone more familiar with this style of music than me. Accounting4Taste 17:48, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 14 May 2023

The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.

The result of the move request was: moved. Consensus to move; editors in opposition argued that this band is the primary topic for this dab, while editors in support argued that they are insufficiently primary for an already disambiguated title.

As both arguments are equally aligned with policy this comes down to which argument was more convincing to the community; with twice as many editors supporting the move than opposing it there is a consensus to move this article. Kingdom Come (band)Kingdom Come (German band)Kingdom Come (British band). In ictu oculi (talk) 21:45, 14 May 2023 (UTC)— Relisting. >>> Extorc.talk 10:15, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose as unnecessary per
WP:INCDAB. This band gets 87% of pageviews. There's already a hatnote on this article pointing to the British band, so moving this article benefits literally no one. Station1 (talk) 00:02, 16 May 2023 (UTC)[reply

Nothing with ( ) after it can be a primary topic. Once ( ) is there German is helpful. And benefits everyone. In ictu oculi (talk) 17:15, 20 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly a title with () can be a primary topic. Please see
WP:INCDAB, the final paragraph of which was the result of an RfC on exactly that point. Adding "German" does not benefit anyone because the minority seeking the British band will get to that article as easily through the hatnote on this article as they would through a dab page, while the majority are not inconvenienced by needing to go through an unnecessary dab page in order to get to the article they want.
