Possible confusion?

Afghan ragas, in contrast to Indian ones, tend to be more focused on rhythm, and are usually played with the tabla, imported from India, or the native zerbaghali, daireh or dohol, all percussive instruments.

The above, taken from the article, is a rather confusing sentence. A raga is a melodic entity, whereas here the word seems to imply the name of a type of performance. It is difficult to tell. Another possible impression is that the raga is played with (i.e. primarily expressed by) the tabla etc. rather than played along with tabla accompaniment.

I dont know if its just me though, so for now I have made no changes. 217.38.138.144 (talk) 13:24, 30 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
