Is it Kristin Landen Davis or Kristin Lee Davis?

She is not related to geena davis. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.1.71.22 (talk) 16:48, 8 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

On Imdb her name is Kristin Landen Davis.

Okay, I checked her Website and it is Kristin Landen Davis.

And her birthday isn't on 23rd, but on 24th of February. Who made those mistakes??? —The preceding

Different sources give 23rd or 24th. Even the 25th comes up (probably from an old Wiki version, I suspect.) What is officially "her website"? Gimmetrow 22:55, 14 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

This Web site http://www.leninimports.com/kristin_davis.html says that her birthday is on the 23rd

I can't find anything on her Friends appearence (listed here as being 1994). Can someone direct me to this episode? It's not on IMDB. -

ok, I found it. It's ep 7.7 so was aired in 2001, not 1994 as listed here. I'm afraid i don't know how to change the article as I'm new at this. Could someone give it a try? :)

kristin

Kristin was born on 2/23/65 and her middle name is "Lee." The websites that say otherwise are just wrong. I've known her and her family since she was 8.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 167.7.212.226 (talkcontribs) 14:51, 6 November 2006

You may be correct, but wikipedia cannot use that information unless it is
reliable source. In this case, the available "reliable" sources disagree on the exact date of birth, and her middle name. If the article only lists one, then other people will come along and change it to the other version. Listing both helps prevent that. The other way is to provide a verifiable, definitive source. On the middle name, I was unable to find any source saying "Lee" that seemed "reliable", but there are a couple semi-reliable sources saying "Landen". Gimmetrow 15:31, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply

Oxfam and the West Bank

regarding Oxfam's stance on Davis's endorsement of settlement cosmetics I'd be surprised if Oxfam did regard the West Bank as "disputed" as the linked New York Post article claims. Oxfam would most likely regard the West Bank as "occupied". Technically I suppose both the West Bank and Israel are "disputed" as some Israelis regard both areas as rightfully Israel and some Palestinians regard the entire area as rightfully Palestine. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.198.14.223 (talk) 08:59, 21 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed the entire section, since there's a significant dispute as to whether there's an actual controversy. See, for example, [1] and [2] and [3]. Absent a reliable, balanced, and complete account, there's nothing encyclopedic to report, and there's no harm in waiting until one is found. UNHCR role Suggestion

Is there a reason why her work with UNHCR isn't covered? (see http://www.unhcr.org/kristin-davis.html?query=davis )

I can't quite get my head around her official connection with UNHCR. During a Feb 2016 visit to Australia ...

(which entailed a local controversy around her appearance on a morning talk show, (http://www.news.com.au/entertainment/tv/morning-shows/sex-and-the-city-star-kristin-davis-ambushed-in-painful-sunrise-skit/news-story/8f9ce159e19c9963dd75c193a8319707 , https://www.theguardian.com/media/2016/feb/12/samantha-armytage-dumped-from-unhcr-lunch-with-kristin-davis) but I digress*)

... she was on more than one occasion described as an "ambassador" for UNHCR, but I think that was just being used in a vernacular sense rather than an official role. Certainly it doesn't appear on the UNHCR site as such, where Davis is included in a list of "High Profile Supporters".

Anyway ... just thought I'd throw it out there.

(* I do not think that the Aus-visit controversy warrants inclusion in this article. It wasn't about Davis, rather it was about the embarrassing conduct of the TV host.)

The entry 2019 The Knight Before Christmas Kate Conrad seems to be in error. Someone want to check it?

2019 Holiday in the Wild Kate Conrad Also producer 2019 The Knight Before Christmas Kate Conrad

Looks at little strange to have the same character name in the same year. Looking at the credits on The Knight Before Christmas Kristin Davis is not listed. Someone want to check it out? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 103.227.170.4 (talk) 09:28, 20 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

IN that Knight Before Christmas movie, there is a point where the characters are watching television, and Kristin Davis' movie Holiday in the Wild is on the television for a few seconds. 2601:246:100:96C0:3949:739B:3D0A:EA48 (talk) 09:48, 5 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Birth Name

Since Kristin was adopted by Keith Davis after her mother remarried and years after she was born, her birth name could not have been Davis. The following reference and others identify her birth father as Tom Atkinson, so her birth name should be Kristin Landon Atkinson or Kristin Lee Atkinson, shouldn't it?

https://bodyheightweight.com/kristin-davis-family/

The article also mentions that Davis was Atkinson's thesis advisor, which is an interesting fact if true. Jimgordonjr (talk) 15:09, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
