Can we be sure "marron" is properly translated here as "maroon", as in the color? Another meaning of "marron" in French is "runaway slave" and I suspect this is what the word means here, given the context. The article, in fact, mentions that the slave depicted is a runaway. --Skb8721 (talk) 19:41, 20 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
