Actually, for this one I disagree, since there will be a lot of folks who are/were signed to Geffen with no article. This should be a comprehensive list.

DO NOT add artists to Geffen records that recorded for MCA Records and are now reissued by this label, such as New Edition, the Who, Tom Petty, Res, and Guy. They are former MCA artists, not Geffen artists. Peace. —MuzikJunky (talk) 07:31, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
