Where'd the 563,662 figure for El Paso come from? According to the El Paso entry (at least, as of last July), as well as Google (then and now), El Paso's 2000 population was 679,622. --Mike Schiraldi 4 July 2005 00:33 (UTC)

I realize this post is two years old, but it was never answered. You are confusing the population of the city of El Paso with the population of the metropolitan area of El Paso. Two different numbers. --Holderca1 talk 18:06, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The following is the list of Texas' most populous incorporated cities and unincorporated Census Designated Places. Is that true? 2011 Census Estimate Date

Since they just released the 2011 Census Date for cities with more then 50000 people I decided to update the numbers according with the data provided by the Census

Updating

I just wanted to tell everyone, that if you're planning on changing any of the information on the list please make sure you're using the data from http://factfinder.census.gov/faces/tableservices/jsf/pages/productview.xhtml?src=bkmk . The reason why is because this table is using the information directly from this data sheet. So, what is the point of this list? It has 67 most populous cities, while
