Does anybody know the status of the ACT Academy of Communications and Technology charter school?
Somebody just listed it under defunct high schools, but the school web page does not show obvious signs of defunctitude and the Chicago Public School web site still lists this school. But school is also listed on this web page as having no students assigned there. So I am confused about its status. M.boli (talk) 23:01, 30 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I found the 1980s obituary of Mildred E. Chuchut, whose name matches that of the controversial principal at Otis, Jenner, and Stowe schools. I do not know exactly if it's the same person.

What do the zoned numberings mean? Zoned 3-8, Zoned K-8 A, Zoned K-8 B, Zoned K-2, etc? How do I know in which zone to add a new school entry? Jay(Talk) 05:32, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Paging @Cificis,@Funandtrvl, and @WhisperToMe, who have worked on this article. Do any of you know the answer to the question above? - Eureka Lott 17:24, 3 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

K-8 schools so for Chicago one is usually assigned to a K-8 and a high school. As for A, B, C those are subdivisions based on the first letter of the school's name (or if it's named after a person, after the person's surname) because there are so many K-8s. How about the word "Zoned", who uses them? Did not find the word in any of the school websites. Similarly the subdivisions A,B,C, are they used only for sectioning the list, or do schools actually use them? Jay(Talk) 11:07, 7 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
