"allies"?

what does allies mean in this context? the link on the word allies links to "alliance", as in between groups or people. These bugs clearly do not have any sort of pact with each other. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.124.180.27 (talk) 16:34, 24 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
