I changed she values of Liechtenstein/Andorra/San Marion so that they were sortable...this may have been a mistake, since I noticed they were not even "on the map" ("n/d") so to speak, so if anyone knows why this is the case, please enlighten me and then correct it , thx

all that's needed is a copy and paste from the world bank website to a plain text editor, and a few tweaks to the colour coding ranges in the map script

Yes, according to the UN, Europe consists of 45 countries: Albania, Andorra, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic (Czechia), Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Vatican City. The American understanding of Europe's geography is not universally recognized. Europe is separated by the Ural Mountains and the Volga River,and the Volga-Don Canal which means Turkey, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan are not European countries. Apart from the discussion whether Turkey shares European culture or not, it is an unequivocal fact that Turkey is partially located in Europe. Turkey's East Thrace is geographically a part of Southeast Europe as the related Wiki page suggests. Therefore, if the list should contain transcontinental countries that are "partially located in Europe", it as well should include Turkey, by common logic. --217.131.85.201 (talk) 11:11, 30 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this list have future forecasts in them? Those don't belong in an encyclopdia. On the other hand, historical data is very relevant and should be kept. – gpvos (talk) 18:56, 19 February 2022 (UTC)
