Birthplace confusion

- By all accounts she was born and grew up in Leeds; I'm not sure how she has become associated with Middlesbrough. I'm from Middlesbrough, and here I doubt many people are aware of any sort of connection. Perhaps she lived in Boro at some point? 217.42.230.195 (talk) 15:42, 6 July 2008 (UTC)

Protection; date of death
I've semi-protected the page to avoid constant adding/removal of dates surrounding the subject's recent death. Most edits had introduced different dates—e.g. 24/25/26/27(!) September—and none with a cited

Date of death
The last edit to this page shows her date of death as the 27th September (tomorrow!) according to the BBC news website she died on Monday evening the 25th September. As a new editor I cannot amend this page as it is semi protected.
