Anon added: In 1952, he married a young Manchester lady called Marjorie Lines (with whom she adopted a son called Tyrone in March 1962). as the grandson of Marjorie, i only know of one (i.e her). however, i agree with you. if you want to add information about the rest of Kitch's wives, go ahead. i just wanted my family to have a few words in there!

'London is the Place for Me' must surely be added to his list of most famous songs. Not only did it launch his career in Britain, but has come to symbolise the start of the cultural ingegration of West Indian immigrants within England in the late '40s / early '50s.
