2007 Fleet

Origin of discount air travel
A discussion of the history of this airline and its hub airport is totally incomplete without mentioning how during the era of intense aviation (over)regulation by all governments and the resultant price-fixing that the government of Luxembourg largely did not participate in this and their airport hence became a place where Europe could be entered and left at a relative bargain price. This was true from the early post-World War II era up until the rise of airline deregulation and denationalization (late 70s-early 80s). 2600:1004:B14C:D9B9:9D12:2FF3:2C65:7CB9 (talk) 03:43, 12 January 2020 (UTC)
