This word need any graphic accent; sometimes it is written with stress mark to avoid the wrong stress /mo'ke:no/; Italians can very easily so (wrongly) pronounce (it is not a common word and you find it almost exclusively to read; perhaps most Italians not even know it), but the correct pronunciation is /'mɔkeno/. Agree. Very odd, actually. Why should the English language use a non-English
