Re this: "devotion to her has become widespread, a simple intense piety dismissed by some as syncretistic" This text has a citation to a general discussion of popular devotions (novenas, etc) without any reference to Mary Untier of Knots. I don't believe the source uses the word syncretistic either. We should be able to find a source that describes this devotion appropriately.

Who is the royal "we"? You seem uninclined to share this sand pit (Pope Francis warned build on rock not on sand, why didn't I listen?) with anyone else but your own self-referential self, a most irregular character of conduct for a Wikipedian. MrsKrishan (talk) 14:09, 2 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
