"A review for one of his cookbooks states that the number of people capable of eating solely raw fruits and vegetables as Bircher-Benner encouraged is limited because humans are not meant to be herbivores" and the source is listed as "Notes on Books". The British Medical Journal. 1935-01-26. I am skeptical about this statement, which cookbook was it? I have access to JSTOR and old BJM journals but "Notes on Books" is usually just a bunch of books listed, not usually reviews.
